Eva Ďurovec
Bio
Born in the former Czechoslovakia, she studied Spatial Strategies at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee. Her work deals with living space and the fulfillment of life in the context of social, economic and environmental crisis, issues of corporate power, kleptocracy and their consequences for the planet. In 2021, she attended the WHW Akademija in Zagreb. Her handwritten book debut New Mindmapping Forms, adapting the topic of a working student and almost-mother in a reformed school environment who turns her studies into business to completely commodify her life, was in the short-list of the Stiftung Buchkunst Award 2022 for the best German book design and in the long-list of the Republic of Consciousness Prize 2023 for small publishers. She is based in Košice and Berlin.
